Research on the Coupled Phase-Tuning Vibration Characteristics of a Two-Stage Planetary Transmission System

Mesh phasing has a dramatic impact on the static and dynamic behaviours of planetary gear systems. This research investigates coupled phase-tuning mechanism two-stage systems corresponding relationship with vibration system. Due to inherent meshing symmetry system, phase-coupled tuning system is derived based force relationships coupling characteristics between different stages. The excitation suppression associated teeth number, harmonic order, are clearly described. To study effect phase response nonlinear model was established. responses under modes were calculated, law for verified. Model 3 used as tool build transmission experimental platform, transverse torsional first stage sun analysed further verify correctness phase-coupling law.
